Guillermo D’Aguanno drives Bacci-prepared Alfa Romeo Giulietta at Adria


Argentinean driver Guillermo D’Aguanno drove the Bacci Motorsport-prepared Alfa Romeo Giulietta QV at Adria. It is the same car fielded in the Italian TCR Series, and the test comes as an evaluation for a possible debut in the national series next season. “The car has great potential and I think that working well with the team it can become even more competitive. There’s a lot of grip and the engine is really impressive. I also liked the team’s approach as they have some clear goals in mind” said D’Aguanno.

Benvenuti, Demarchi cap Mugello weekend with race 2 win


The Piedmont-based pairing of Ivan Benvenuti and Luca Demarchi, driving a Lamborghini Gallardo for Imperiale Racing, cruised to victory in the second race of the GT Cup weekend at Mugello after securing the title with one round to spare at the end of race 1.



The pairing of Ivan Benvenuti and Luca Demarchi, driving a Lamborghini Gallardo for Imperiale Racing, took 4th place in the opening race for the Italian GT Cahmpionship, GT Cup class, at Mugello. With today’s result, they clinched an early series title with one race still to spare. They stand with 155 points versus the 134 of Sauto-Zanardini and the 119 of the Curti brothers.

Demarchi takes second place in GT Cup Mugello round, Benvenuti will start P3 in race 2


The Piedmont-based pairing of Luca Demarchi and Ivan Benvenuti, driving a Lamborghini Gallardo for Imperiale Racing, completed the two qualifying sessions of the day at Mugello in the final round of the 2016 Italian GT Championship. In the first session, Demarchi did a great job with a second place, and will start from the front row in tomorrow morning’s race 1, scheduled for 13:50 PM on a 48-minute + 1 lap distance. Ivan Benvenuti delivered a third place finish in qualifying 2 which was heavily hit by bad weather. Race 2 will be held on Sunday at 11:40 AM on the same distance as race 1. Benvenuti and Demarchi are leading the championship with a 28-point margin.

William Barbosa enters Carrera X30 Challenge Colombia


In an excellent experience for him, William Barbosa entered the Carrera X30 Challenge kart race in Colombia, racing against top racers like Juan Pablo Montoya, Carlos Muñoz, Julian Leal and many others. He was back after four years at his home track in Villavicencio. Unfortunately, after the two pre-finals he had ended in P4 and P3, an heavy rainfall forced to cancel the remaining activities.
